Project Time Management::
It takes care of timely completion of the Project.
It includes develop schedule and control the same leads to successful completion of the project.
Based on the deliverables defined in the WBS ie, Scope base line, Activity has to be defined.
It means, Work package has to be decomposed into Activities. Out put of Define Activity Process is
a. Activity List
b. Activity Attributes
c. Milestone list
After defining the activities, it has to be sequenced based on the start date and end date or durations.
There are many ways to do that. One of the method is schedule diagram or Network Schedule Diagram.
Needs to identify the Critical Path. Critical path means, In the network path , Sequence of Activities which taking longest duration, also used to determine shortest possible project completion date.
Eg:
A - > B -> C > H = 20 Days
A - >D -> E> H = 27 Days
A - > F - >G - > 13 Days
Critical path is A - > D-> E = 27 Days (Which is Shortest possibility date to complete the project). As per the above sequence, to complete the project it will take 27 days.
If any delay in this path, will affect the project schedule.
Also need to watch path closer to critical path, because, anytime, it may become Crtical path.
Float on the critical path is "Zero". Reason is, activity can't have any delay.

Project Scope Management::
For every project, scope management is very important and critical. If scope is not managed and controled then it leads to affect, Cost, time and quality. Scope has to be defined and agreed with the stake holders. Scope includes all the work required ie, only the work required. Also it should have work included and excluded clearly. Once it is base lined, if any changes comes later, it has to be controled thru control management.
Scope should be defined for Product which will be produced by the project.
Product scope refers to functions and features of a product which is going to talk about chaterestics of a product produced by a project.
Eg: Project required to produce a prduct which has to be kept in room temperature is charaterestics of the product.
Also, Product scope should clearly define the expected functions and features of the product
Project scope refers to the set of activities or task performed to produce the product with specific features and functions.
According to PMBOK Project Scope Mangement includes 6 proccesses to ensure that "the project includes all the work required and only the work required to complete the project successfuly."
- Plan Scope Management
- Collect requirements
- Define Scope
- Create WBS
- Validate Scope
- Control Scope
